For the Expo 2020 in Dubai, the Land of Baden-Württemberg called a competition for an innovative and eye catching pavilion. str.ucture GmbH in collaboration with Studio2050 developed a pavilion that reacts to the location and the climate with traditional construction methods and becomes innovative with the targeted use of high-tech from Baden-Württemberg. The pavilion serves as an example of how highly developed design tools can be used to optimise the design process together with the production and delivery of sophisticated architecture. A distinctive architecture that represents a meaningful response to the challenges of building for the future. An inspiring place to relax from the hustle and bustle of the Expo, where Baden-Württemberg can show how it is equipped to shape the future.
